Great installations get great rewards

“The Citiq Installation Club (CIC) is the Citiq Prepaid loyalty programme that has been developed specifically for all those involved in the prepaid sub-metering channel,” says Carel Scheepers, General Manager: Sales at Citiq Prepaid. “We built it specifically for electrical contractors, retailers and wholesalers to reward them for the work they do and we are constantly evolving the offering and the platform to ensure that it keeps giving back and rewarding people in the right ways.”

The CIC is the first of its kind in South Africa and it’s structured to financially reward Citiq Prepaid partners using an easy points-based system that allocates points based on installations and sales. Designed by people who have worked in the industry for years and who understand the pressures and the pain points experienced by contractors, every single day, the CIC is easy to use and accessible. 

“The CIC rewards loyalty and hard work,” adds Scheepers. “It’s definitely not about adding admin and extra paperwork to an already challenging workload. We’ve made the CIC as easy to use as possible so that anyone can immediately benefit from what it has to offer. Once you’ve registered, you get a point for every Citiq Prepaid meter you install and you receive a R500 voucher to redeem at your selected wholesaler once you reach 20 points.” 

Launched in 2018 as part of Citiq Prepaid’s vision to empower contractors, wholesalers and retailers, the loyalty platform has successfully been giving back to the channel for two years. In addition to a points-based voucher system that rewards for installations and sales, the CIC also connects preferred contractors to customers so that they can build their markets and their businesses. 

“The CIC has grown considerably since its inception and has had great feedback,” concludes Scheepers. “Our goal is to continue expanding and evolving the platform so that contractors are consistently rewarded and recognised for the work that they do. We know that our channel is integral to our success and the CIC is just one part of our vision to give you what you need to succeed.”
