CITIQ INSTALLATION CLUB CONTRACTOR TERMS 

It is important that you read these terms carefully to ensure that you understand 

  • the rules that apply, 
  • the benefits you could qualify for, and
  • what communication you could expect from us. 

If you do not comply with these rules, your CIC membership may be terminated.

The Citiq Installation Club (CIC)

The CIC is operated by Citiq Meter Solutions (Pty) Ltd t/a Citiq Prepaid (hereafter referred to as “we/us”). It is a loyalty programme that rewards wholesalers and contractors for registering meters on the Citiq Prepaid vending system.

If you are a registered CIC contractor, you will receive one point for each Citiq Prepaid meter purchased, installed and registered. For every 20 points earned, you will receive a R500 promotional voucher to spend at your preferred wholesaler.

Joining CIC

Who may join

  • To participate, you must be 18 years or older.
  • You may only register as a member of the CIC once.

How to join

You can register by completing the CIC application form at your preferred wholesaler.

Sharing personal information with us

  • When you join CIC, you will share some personal information with us, including: 
    • Company name 
    • Company contact details and address
    • CIC contact person details
    • Your preferred wholesaler
  • We need this information for CIC membership administration, to allocate points, and to send you promotional vouchers. Please make sure that your details are always up to date.
  • We may also use your information to send you relevant promotional and marketing material, but we will always give you the option to unsubscribe.

Earning points

  • To start earning points, you must first register as a CIC member.
  • When you install and register the first Citiq Prepaid meter on our vending system you will earn 10 points. 
  • You will earn 1 point for each subsequent meter installed and registered on our vending system. 

Accessing promotional vouchers

  • You will receive a R500 promotional voucher by email when you have earned 20 points. The voucher will show:
    • Your company name
    • Voucher number
    • The value of the voucher
    • Your preferred wholesaler
    • The expiry date of the voucher
  • You may only use your promotional voucher at your preferred wholesaler.
  • You must use the promotional voucher before it expires.
  • If we suspect or confirm that you have misused or attempted to misuse a promotional voucher, your CIC membership will be terminated immediately. 

General rules of the CIC

  • Your membership or points may not be transferred to someone else.
  • We reserve the right to withdraw or cancel your CIC membership if we consider you to have acted contrary to these terms.
  • If we suspect or confirm that you provided any incorrect or fraudulent information to us or any wholesaler, your CIC membership will be terminated immediately. 
  • We may discontinue the CIC programme at any stage without reason.
  • Being a member of the CIC does not create an employment relationship between us. You must not represent to anyone that you are an employee of Citiq Prepaid or in any way affiliated with us other than being a member of the CIC.
  • We will not be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages for whatever reason.
  • We may need to change these terms from time to time. We will let you know by email of any changes that could affect you.
