Sub-metering leader launches programme to ensure partners at every level of the supply chain benefit from choosing Citiq Prepaid.
Citiq Prepaid, leaders in prepaid submetering vending in South Africa, launched the Citiq Installation Club (CIC) this July to ensure that everyone in the chain from wholesaler, retailer, contractor and installer experiences the reward of selecting Citiq Prepaid.
The CIC rewards the network of companies and individuals that sell, install and register meters on the vending system for their role in helping Citiq Prepaid become one of the fastest growing submetering businesses in South Africa.
Carel Scheepers, National Sales Manager at Citiq Prepaid says, “The past year has seen massive growth at the company. We almost doubled our meter installations in the last 12 months. This momentum and success would not have been possible without the support and work of our channel. This programme has been created to give back to the people and companies that help us take our product to market. Great installations deserve great rewards.”
The CIC rewards wholesalers and installers with money-back incentives for meters sold and registered on the system. “The programme is the first of its kind for the prepaid metering and vending industry,” says Scheepers. “Since its launch we have had interest from across the country and have already seen our first CIC rewards winner within two weeks of joining the programme.”
For installers and contractors
Installers and contractors receive one point for every meter registered on the Citiq Prepaid system. Once 20 points have been accumulated they will receive a voucher to be spent at the preferred Wholesaler or Retailer.
For wholesalers and retailers
Wholesalers and retailers receive the benefit of their registered installers spending the rewards voucher at their stores. Registering is simple and quick and requires a less than 5-minute conversation with our CIC team on 087 55 111 89.
“It was essential that we didn’t make our contractors’ and retailers’ lives more complicated. We didn’t want to add any more steps to their work. And I think we got that right. We are rewarding people for doing what they would be doing anyway – selling and installing Citiq Prepaid meters,” says Scheepers.
“Our intention for the CIC was very clear: create a rewards programme that goes full circle, ensuring that everyone in the Citiq Prepaid meter value chain receive monetary recognition.” concludes Scheepers.
